Melissa Bristow

I am a Research SDE II / Applied Researcher II in the Healthcare Intelligence team at Microsoft Research Cambridge. I joined in 2018 as an AI Resident, working on projects in computational biology and in knowledge extraction. Since then, I have worked on several projects in the Health Intelligence space, including project InnerEye, project Florence and more recently, project ABEX.

Prior to joining MSR, I completed an MPhys in Theoretical Physics and a separate MSc in Computing (Machine Learning). I also worked for a startup involved in NLP tasks for 1 year, and in finance as a Quantitative Strategist for 2 years.
