I am an RSDE at Microsoft Research, Cambridge, in the working in the Excel/Yellow project.

Previously, I worked for eight years at RealVNC in Cambridge until 2019, working on desktop application development on Windows/Mac/Linux/UNIX/Android, networking, new video encodings and video streaming and flow control, cryptographic protocols, and bytecode interpreters. I have several years of experience designing and implementing web services in Java and Go, using Cassandra/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and other web technologies.

For five years I have supervised (taught on) the Security II course at the Cambridge Computer Lab.

I have an undergraduate and masters degree in maths (Cambridge).
