About
I am a Principal Researcher Manager at Microsoft Research AI4Science, where I currently work on developing foundation models for weather and climate modeling. Prior to joining MSR I was an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University (2015), and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2015-2017). My prior research has spanned a range of topics in deep learning, physics-informed neural networks and neural operators, generative models and uncertainty quantification for sequential decision making in scientific and engineering applications.
