I am a Senior Research Software Engineer on the Azure Systems Research (opens in new tab) group. My current focus is on AI for Systems.
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UFMG (opens in new tab) (Brazil), in which my thesis focused on investigating biased distributed tracing sampling. During my Ph.D., I spent some time as visiting research fellow at Brown University, and a research intern at MPI-SWS (Germany). Before my Ph.D., I received my master’s in Computer Science from UFMG (opens in new tab) and my bachelor’s degree from PUC Minas (opens in new tab).
