About
I am a Senior Principal Research Manager at Microsoft, where I lead the Azure Systems Research (AzSR) group. Our group is focused on innovative systems research, broadly construed, to improve the efficiency and utility of the Azure cloud, while maintaining the security and reliability expected from a public cloud offering.
Personally, I am broadly interested in operating systems, distributed systems, and networking. Prior to AzSR, I was a researcher at Microsoft Research, and an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Brown University.
