About

I’m the lead engineer for the Microsoft Academic UX team, building and providing engaging experiences for the Microsoft Academic Graph.  I also volunteer my time as a pilot and glider subject matter expert with the Aerial Informatics and Robotics Group in MSR.  I have worked at Microsoft since 1999, joining MSR in 2015.  During my career at Microsoft I have worked in a number of product groups (SharePoint, Office, Windows Phone, Bing and MSN) and enjoy bringing those experiences to projects within MSR.

Outside of MSR, I am a proud father and avid fan of aviation.  I hold a private pilot license and love to fly R/C gliders in my spare time.
