My name is Siwei Wang (汪 思为). I am a senior researcher at Microsoft Research Asia.

My research focuses on developing solutions to address challenges in controlling/decision-making systems in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Typically, I model and analyze the systems through the lens of mechanism design, mathematics optimization, and algorithms. My recent studies are mostly on the design and analysis of online learning models, e.g., bandits problems and reinforcement learning problems.

I obtained my bachelor and Ph.D degrees from the Institude for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS), Tsinghua University.
