About

I’m a Researcher on the AI for Science (opens in new tab) team at Microsoft Research Amsterdam, where I work on developing machine learning methods for molecular simulation. Prior to MSR, I was a Research Fellow at the Partnership on AI (opens in new tab), a global non-profit organization aimed at developing best practices for responsible deployment of AI applications, where I worked on evaluating explainable machine learning methods for healthcare applications in low-resource settings. I did my PhD in explainable machine learning at the University of Amsterdam, supervised by Maarten de Rijke. (opens in new tab) My MSc and BSc are both in mathematics from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
