About
I am an associate professor at Tel-Aviv University and a visiting researcher at Microsoft. My goals in research are to improve health, well-being, and education using technology. My main field of research is Machine Learning but my research uses tools for other domains such as cryptography, human-computer-interaction, and psychology.
I am involved in several research projects at Microsoft including the Private AI project in which we build AI tools that preserve privacy. This is significant in domains such as health and education in which privacy is of great concern. I am working on developing technologies to help people with behavioral change. Here, the goal is to help people with their diets, sleeping habits, managing stress and more. Other subjects that I have been working on include personalized education, measuring gait and balance, machine learning theory, machine teaching, and debugging machine learning.
