Akshaya Thoutam

About

Akshaya Thoutam (she/her) is a Pre-doctoral research assistant in the BioML Group at Microsoft Research New England. She holds a BS in Neuroscience from Georgia Tech with a minor in Health and Medical sciences. Akshaya’s research interests lie at the intersection of computational biology, neuroscience, genomics, and immunology. She hopes to leverage machine learning to better understand systems biology and improve the treatment and diagnosis of disease.
