As a part of the Networking Research Group and the Research for Industry team, Vaishnavi currently works on bringing traceability to establish a sustainable Agriculture and Food Supply Chain. She has experience working on a diverse set of topics including Wireless Power Transfer, Backscatter and battery-free systems, NEMS, wearable and implantable devices and low power sensing for healthcare, environment and sustainability. At Microsoft Research she also worked on Project Eclipse, a research effort to measure hyperlocal air quality in urban areas and identify its public health impacts.
