About
I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research Redmond. My general research goal is to build natural language generation models that can plan, act and interact with humans proactively under dynamic goals in complex environments.
I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park (opens in new tab) where I worked with Marine Carpuat (opens in new tab) and other members of the CLIP lab (opens in new tab). My Ph.D. work focuses on integrating stronger inductive biases for data-efficient, controllable, and robust machine translation.
