About

I am a passionate applied scientist working in Microsoft Assistant and Intelligence team (MSAI) to develop innovative NLP and DL techniques to extend and refine AI experiences in MS365 search and products which serve millions of people around the world.

I joined Microsoft after completing my Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. I have been mainly working on natural language services and analytics including speech services, entity search and linking, task/commitment extraction, natural language email search and search relevance. I have worked on NLU-related projects in various MS products, including windows phone, Bing search relevance, knowledge graph, Cortana Assistant and M365 Office, Outlook and Teams.
