Alex Counts is President and CEO of the Grameen Foundation, a Washington D.C. based nonprofit that has grown to a global network of 52 microfinance partners in 22 countries. Counts became the organizations first Executive Director in 1997 after training under Dr.Muhammad Yunus. Today the Grameen Foundation impacts an estimated 11 million lives in Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Arab world.
