Summary
Adware:Win32/SeekmoSearchAssistant displays targeted search results and pop-up advertisements based on terms that the user enters for Web searches. The pop-up advertisements may include adult content. The Adware:Win32/SeekmoSearchAssistant software may also add its own browser toolbar. The software may install browser helper objects (BHOs) for monitoring Web search terms and implementing the browser toolbar. Adware:Win32/SeekmoSearchAssistant may send event logs and other system-related information to a server, and may automatically download and install updates without notifying the user.
Adware:Win32/SeekmoSearchAssistant may place an uninstaller entry named "Seekmo Search Assistant" in Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. If an uninstaller is not available or if you do not want to use the uninstaller that is provided, use Microsoft Windows Defender, Microsoft Security Essentials, the Microsoft Safety Scanner, or another up-to-date scanning and removal tool to detect and remove Adware:Win32/SeekmoSearchAssistant and other unwanted software from your computer.
