Summary

TrojanDownloader:BAT/Lnkget is a generic detection for shortcut links that connect to an FTP server to download and execute arbitrary VBScript files. These downloaded files commonly download and execute game password stealing malware, such as variants of PWS:Win32/OnLineGames.BX.dr, Win32/Helpud and VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.BH malware families.
