Summary

BrowserModifier:Win32/NavExcel is an application that installs an Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object (BHO) or plug-in. It allows a user to conduct searches by typing keywords directly into the browser's address bar. It may also install its own search toolbar.
BrowserModifier:Win32/NavExcel may place an uninstaller entry in Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program (Windows Vista and Windows 7). The entry name may be called "Navhelper". If an uninstaller is not available or if you do not want to use the uninstaller that is provided, use Microsoft Windows Defender, Microsoft Security Essentials, the Microsoft Safety Scanner, or another up-to-date scanning and removal tool to detect and remove Navhelper and other unwanted software from your computer.
