Summary
This is a detection of Trigona ransomware, which is deployed by threat actors for their opportunistic malware attacks. This ransomware encrypts the data on your disk and can stop you from using your device or accessing your data. It encrypts files, renders them inaccessible, and demands payment for the decryption key.
Trigona ransomware was first reported in October 2022 and has been observed to adopt a double extortion scheme in their campaigns.
