Summary
Trickbot is a modular trojan that first appeared in 2016. Trickbot can perform a number of actions on the infected device, including:
- Harvesting credentials
- Downloading and executing additional malware on the infected device
- Spreading throughout the network
- Installing persistent backdoors on the infected device/network
