Summary
Keylogger is a trojan spyware used for monitoring and recording keystrokes on the target device. This trojan is typically delivered as a file attachment in spear-phishing emails.
This trojan is observed to be used by Ke3chang, also known as Ketrican, an advanced persistent threat (APT15) group operating from China and targeting various government, defense, oil and non-governmental organizations.
Microsoft Defender Antivirus automatically removes threats as they are detected. If you have cloud-delivered protection, your device gets the latest defenses against new and unknown threats. If you don't have this feature enabled, update your antimalware definitions and run a full scan to remove this threat.
Devices infected by this trojan might be severely compromised and require complete restoration. Consider restoring your device. When restoring data, ensure that it is a clean, uninfected copy.
