Summary
Slammer is a memory resident worm that spreads via a vulnerability present in computers running either MSDE 2000 or SQL Server that have not applied Microsoft Security Bulletin MS02-039.
To prevent infection by this worm, update using the latest available service packs and security updates for the following products:
