Amidst the pandemic, Dabur accomplished double-digit YoY growth rate in both national and international markets. Within this period, the company also introduced 50 new products or variants, equivalent to launching a new product or variant every two weeks.
To match the business’s exponential growth plans, Dabur’s technology stack required to be modern and modular, more agile and scalable. Microsoft Cloud becomes the backbone for digital transformation
To support the tremendous pace of new product development, Dabur decided to take the journey to the cloud. They were looking for a trusted technology partner who can help accelerate the growth strategy, do more with lesser resources enabling them to focus on innovation.

Additionally, Dabur recognized the benefits of integrating Teams with its enterprise solutions, enabling smooth collaboration across business processes and help in building cloud native services. Azure's native security, geographical data residency for Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites, and single Virtual Machine (VM) SLAs of 99.9 percent were also significant factors that cemented Azure as the preferred solution.

- Cost savings by using Azure Hybrid Benefits (AHUB) for non-SAP workloads, Dabur gained further cost savings. The cloud journey will also reduce its energy bills by eliminating expenses on power requirements for servers and cooling systems as compute resources are utilized on demand.
- In-depth visibility with a unified hub for monitoring and reporting, Azure provides comprehensive real-time insights into the IT resource consumption of various applications and business functions. These insights will empower Dabur to make business accountable, identify and drive cost optimization and improve the services.
- Enhanced security by leveraging the array of tools and capabilities that Microsoft provides, Dabur looks to bolster its security posture. Moreover, Microsoft’s approach of working as a partner by factoring in Dabur’s third-party investments and creating a roadmap to reuse & retire external components over time helped in building a strong confidence on Microsoft partnership.
- Enabling ESG goals Dabur is committed to achieving a carbon-zero footprint by 2040. The company's shift to a cloud-based solution has contributed to the reduction of carbon emissions by decreasing energy consumption and requirements. Additionally, Microsoft's use of green energy in its data centers is helping Dabur move closer to its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) target.
