Inspire has been the starting point for the introduction of the new Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, the evolution of our ecosystem program, which will allow each partner to provide customer value by taking advantage of the benefits of Microsoft AI and Microsoft Cloud.

Why do we evolve?

The world and the way we work is changing rapidly. The opportunities for Microsoft partners, whether they develop and sell services, software solutions, or devices, are huge. The capabilities required by our customers are also evolving, and our partner programs must change to meet that demand.

The Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program offers a portfolio of tools, resources, and offers focused on simplifying the way we work with our partners, investing in their growth, and recognizing new ways to deliver customer value with cloud and AI.

Simplified partner programs

New Solutions Partner designations demonstrate your organization’s breadth of capabilities on the Microsoft Cloud. The six solution area designations in market are aligned to where we see customer demand and where partners have the greatest opportunity to scale to meet customer needs.

Validating partner capabilities to deliver successful outcomes

New partner capability score holistically measures your organization’s technical capabilities and experience across performance, skilling, and customer success.

Investing in partners’ profitability

Program benefits continue to support you as you grow your business. We are making investments to help encourage business development, increase customer reach, and expand technical skilling and enablement.

Understanding the AI opportunity

Our customers are eager to experience the benefits of AI. In fact, 9 out of 10 leaders believe AI will give their organization a competitive edge. And employees are ready to embrace AI, with 70% saying they would delegate as much work as possible to AI to lessen their workloadsIt’s no surprise that Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service is the fastest-growing service in Azure history, with more than 9,500 customers using the service.

Partners who take advantage of this new economic opportunity are creating value for their customers and for their own company. In that sense, Microsoft AI allows partners to monetize our intellectual property (IP), monetize their own IP, and monetize their services.

What benefits are already active in the Microsoft IA Cloud Partner Program?

By being part of the Microsoft IA Cloud Partner Program, you have multiple benefits: a sum of the benefits that were in the previous program and the one that are part of the new one, with a focus on AI technology.

For one thing, there are benefits included with all solution partner designations, such as marketing (go-to-market) benefits and support and advisory (formerly known as technical benefits).

On the other hand, there are specific benefits for each designation or program (incremental if you have more than one designation), as well as benefits for partners who choose a Microsoft Action Pack or a Learning Action Pack.

There is no action for a partner to take to move to the new program

With this change, partners get the value and benefits of the previous program plus access to new offerings and benefits specific to AI. And there is no action for a partner to take to move to the new program.

Microsoft moved all existing partners into the new program effective immediately and partners maintain their existing benefits and designations.
