Diversity and Inclusion

Software development is a skill that anyone can learn and pick up. To enable everyone, Microsoft encourages and enables communities of all kinds through internal programs such as the LEAP Program and external programs that work with communities that are enabling the disadvantaged.  

We have seen the recent growth in female developer communities that enable women and train them in software development. We have also seen the rise in communities that reach the financially disadvantaged. We support these communities directly and indirectly through partnerships, sponsorships, and training resources.
