Four months after leaving him, Larry's (Garry Shandling) second wife, Jeannie, wants a divorce. While Artie (Rip Torn) looks to play matchmaker with guests like Kathy Ireland and Helen Hunt, Hank also tries to find his boss a date. Seeking comfort in the company of his first wife, Francine, Larry must find a host for a new show to follow his, manage the colliding egos of his guests, and negotiate a new contract. While Hank faces widespread skepticism about his own plans to marry, he struggles to get an expensive rotating restaurant, the Look-A-Round Café, off the ground. But after worrying that his agent's hard-line stance could derail his contact negotiations and being accused of censoring a guest's controversial performance, Larry faces some big decisions about his own future when the network is sold and the new owner suggests making some changes.
