On the heels of the news that Beverly is pregnant and with the show's staff betting on the father's identity, Hank's (Jeffery Tambor) Wisconsin weekend with the winners of a network contest ends badly. Because of Larry's (Garry Shandling) sagging ratings, the network is looking to replace him with his popular guest host Jon Stewart. So when Stewart appears on the show, Larry tries to torpedo his chances. But his efforts to change aren't good enough, and Larry's days are numbered as everyone around him looks for an exit. While Hank courts both Stewart and game show host Pat Sajak, Artie (Rip Torn) buys a ranch in Wyoming after lining up a job with Rosanne. However, even as he heads towards an uncertain future, Larry still looks out for himself, making an effort to date guests Winona Rider and Laura Dern. Guest stars include Warren Beatty, Ellen Degeneres, Carol Burnett and Jerry Seinfeld.
